Introducing Local Staff

Our young, hardworking and hugely ambitious local employees at Mochizuki Press Vietnam are playing an active role.

Why did you choose Mochizuki Press Vietnam?

I graduated from the Japanese department of Hanoi University of Foreign Languages and always wanted to work for a Japanese company. Right after returning to Vietnam from studying in Japan in February 2013, I found information that MPV (Mochizuki Press Vietnam) was recruiting for the position of Japanese Interpreter and decided to apply immediately. I knew that MPV was a new company that had just started a project in Vietnam and I decided to join the company because I thought it would be a valuable experience to be involved in the start-up of the project.

What is the most rewarding thing about your job?

I started working at MPV as a Japanese interpreter in March 2013, with no expertise in Human resources or General affairs. At that time, there were only three Vietnamese and no HR&GA staff, so I gradually took on and managed the related tasks. So that's what motivated me to continue working at MPV for more than 10 years. In my current job, what I find rewarding is being involved in the human resources management and general management of the company. I have participated in the start-up of the MPV project, and have carried out many range of tasks, including recruitment, training, administrative procedures, making labor regulations for Vietnamese and Japanese, firefighting, environment, occupational safety, organizing company events, and the participating of new projects. In particular, I feel happy to play the role of intermediary by connecting employees within the company, conveying the instructions of Japanese superiors to employees, and proposing their thoughts and wishes to the board of directors. I have also learned a lot of knowledge for my own growth and improvement.

Are you glad that you joined this company?

Through my experience working at MPV - a Japanese company, I learned many rules and working procedures and grew up as a member of society. I also make an effort to follow the rules, comprehensively understand issues, and refrain from being assertive while considering the other party's point of view. Furthermore, MPV has a satisfactory working environment and welfare regime, with company trips and annual health check-ups, salaries, bonuses and social welfare programs are regularly reviewed according to employees' capabilities and living standards. With these efforts, MPV is like a big family where everyone grows together.

Why did you choose Mochizuki Press Vietnam?

While I am an avid enthusiast of cars, my knowledge of Mochizuki Press Vietnam (MPV) was limited until I encountered the recruitment information on a Job site. After researching MPV, I discovered MPV is a expert in terminal manufacturing within the Japanese automotive sector.
I am deeply impressed by the commitment to consumer benefits inherent in Japanese products. Coupled with my prior experience in a foreign company, this admiration has driven my desire to join the team at MPV.

What is the most rewarding thing about your job?

It feels especially good when my colleagues and I finish work on time or achieve our objectives together. Everyday I strive to complete all my daily tasks and activities, which is my main goal each day. While it's not always easy and some activities require more time than expected, achieving this goal is very rewarding. There's a great comfort in knowing I've reached the end of the day and can return home to my family.
On a larger scale, I find great satisfaction in the knowledge that my contributions are important to the final product. Seeing cars that MPV contributed manufacture being operated safely and reliably around the world is the most rewarding aspect of my job.

Are you glad that you joined this company?

I truly value practicality, and I've found joy in achieving small but impactful improvements in my work. At MPV, even minor adjustments can lead to a better product and greater customer satisfaction. This is the motivation that makes me love the job I'm doing more.
I'm proud to contribute to MPV's growth, helping us become a trusted partner for both customers and suppliers. I'm also grateful for the support I've received since day one.

What is the most rewarding thing about your job?

I am currently working in quality control in the automotive parts manufacturing industry and am very excited and satisfied with my role. The automotive industry is constantly growing and metal fabricated parts must meet the highest quality standards. My role is to ensure that all products meet strict quality requirements, from raw material inspection, through the manufacturing process, to inspection of the finished product. Through this job, I am not only improving my professional skills, but I am also proud to contribute to the safety and efficiency of our transportation system. I feel strongly that this position is very important and significant because I realize that the quality of our products is a decisive factor for the success of the automotive industry.

With such a great environment, I am happy to remain a part of Mochizuki Press and look forward to working with the company to achieve even greater success in the future.

Why did you choose Mochizuki Press Vietnam?

When I graduated from college, I found a job at a Japanese company in search of a stable workplace and was able to work on my major, “Technical Specialization”. However, I felt that my Japanese communication skills were lacking in order to grow in my job, so I went to Japan to work with Japanese people and learn Japanese. Then, after returning to Japan, I looked for a workplace where I could make use of the experience I had gained and was fortunate enough to find and apply for a position at MPV, where I was able to become a member of MPV.

What is the most rewarding thing about your job?

With little experience in Vietnam regarding stamping dies, I started my challenge at MPV as a supervisor in the engineering department. Although I received Japanese language instruction based on my studies in Japan and was able to understand it at first, new problems arose through actual work and I found it very difficult to solve them. Nevertheless, I like problem solving and have continued to work at MPV for over 7 years. My main task is to maintain and manage the molds, and I feel great joy when we are able to finish production without any problems. I have also learned how to listen to opinions and report through morning meetings and monthly reports, and have improved my reporting, communication, and consultation skills. Furthermore, through company-sponsored Kaizen training, I gained an understanding of Japanese Kaizen culture and recognized the need for continuous improvement, starting with small things. I would like to continue to grow at MPV while learning new knowledge.

Are you glad that you joined this company?

I feel very fortunate that MPV is consistently improving its performance, just as I had hoped. In addition, the company values teamwork, and although we sometimes have conflicting opinions, we essentially respect each other's opinions and find the best solutions in the process. I hope to continue contributing to the company over the long term, while never forgetting the joy of working at MPV.
